DEAmP: Dielectric-Elastomer-Amplified Piezoelectric Generator

DEAmP (Dielectric-Elastomer-Amplified Piezoelectric) is a hybrid energy harvester that combines a dielectric elastomer amplifier with a piezoelectric element to harvest low-frequency motions more effectively than piezoelectric transducers alone. This work is described in “A High-Energy Dielectric-Elastomer-Amplified Piezoelectric (DEAmP) to Harvest Low-Frequency Motions” and “A Self-Amplifying Dielectric-Elastomer-Amplified Piezoelectric for Motion-Based Energy Harvesting”, and is the subject of a published PCT patent application (WO2020190215A1, WIPO).
